Canberra/NSW shenanigans... I'm on TV!

Hey everyone! I just got back from a four-day trip to Canberra and thought I'd share the fun with you all before I give into my exhaustion.
Flew up to Canberra Saturday arvo and almost immediately left on a road trip to Batemans Bay on the NSW coast with Kirra, Kayleigh and Amanda. We met up with Maja when we got there and checked into our motel room. After some food and chatting we decided to look for the beach so we could lie on the sand in the dark and look at the stars.
Despite the fact that we were staying basically adjacent to the beach we were unable to find one. We drove for what seemed like hours only to end up on this creepy dirt road surrounded by forest. We came to a T-junction only to find a broken down car - we were terrified and in hysterics simultaneously! We finally found a beach and did what we went there for - lay out under the stars, which was great. On the drive home we saw some guy curled up on the side of the road, yet upon our slowing down to see what was wrong he jumped up quicker than I have ever seen. We screamed and floored it back to our motel for the night. Funniest and scariest night ever!
The next day we went to the beach twice, mini golfed, ate lots of food and didn't get sunburnt (yay!). We eventually made the drive back to Canberra after the awesome weekend.
Monday we slept in and went to Floriade. There were gorgeous flowers and awesome stalls - I bought earrings, bracelets, a necklace, soap and fudge, all of which is awesome. Later we were walking past a patch of flowers when Kirra shrieked "OH MY GOD IT'S JOHANNA GRIGGS!" I looked across the flower patch to see Johanna Griggs, a presenter on Better Homes and Gardens, filming her signoff for this week's show. She waved to us and it became apparent that we'd just interrupted a shot XD Next thing I know the PA lady rushes over to us and basically says, you can be in the show if you shut up.
So we got to be background people and walk past Johanna twenty or so times, and we're going to be on national TV!!! We were/are so excited. Better Homes and Gardens, 7.30pm, Friday September 18th, everyone!! I'm pretty sure it's on Nine/Win, haha. 
That night Andrew came over and we might have gotten a liiiittle bit drunk. Andrew stayed over and we had minimal amounts of sleep and shitloads of fun. We slept like motherbitches today, ate lots more food, hung around at the mall for a bit, watched a movie and went out for dinner. Then sadly I had to catch my flight home. I'm glad I'm back with my family, as I missed them, but I miss my family and bffs in Canberra too! I had the most fantastic time.
